¿Cómo usar una toalla higiénica?
¡Es muy fácil!
Separa la tira de papel o el envoltorio que cubre la parte adhesiva de la parte de atrás de la toalla higiénica. Presiona la parte adhesiva en el centro de tu ropa interior, ¡y ya está!
Cuando uses toallas higiénicas con alas flexibles, haz exactamente lo mismo y, a continuación, separa las tiras de papel de las alas y dóblalas a los lados de la ropa interior, presionando firmemente la parte de abajo.
Cuando necesites cambiarte la toalla higiénica, simplemente tira de ella. (Comienza separando las alas).
¿Cómo desechar una toalla higiénica?
- Dóblala.
- Envuélvela en un pañuelo de papel o en papel higiénico.
- Tírala a la basura. (A menudo hay recipientes especiales en los baños de mujeres).
- No eches una toalla higiénica por el inodoro, porque puede trancarlo.
- Lávate las manos.
Algunas toallas higiénicas vienen en envoltorios individuales fácilmente desechables: coloca la toalla higiénica en el envoltorio de la nueva toalla higiénica y tírala a la basura.
¿Con qué frecuencia tengo que cambiarme la toalla higiénica?
Depende de la cantidad de flujo y del tipo de toalla higiénica que estés usando. Necesitas cambiártela con frecuencia para mantenerte fresca y limpia. Además, podría comenzar a gotear si la llevas puesta demasiado tiempo. Por lo general, deberías cambiarte la toalla higiénica cada 4 a 6 horas o más a menudo si el flujo es abundante. Por supuesto, la llevarás más tiempo durante la noche. Recuerda lavarte las manos antes y después de cambiártela.

Las primeras toallas higiénicas se vendieron a finales de la década de 1890. Se fabricaron especialmente para que las usaran las bailarinas y las actrices. Desde entonces, las toallas higiénicas han estado disponibles para las mujeres de todo el mundo.
